Our clients are from diverse backgrounds, ranging from those who have recently retired from a long professional career to budding entrepreneurs embarking on a new venture.
In effect investing is deferred expenditure - either for yourself or a future generation. Accumulating your wealth and the administration that comes with it doesn't have to be a burden.

Why choose us?
We are often approached by those who either lack the time to manage their money themselves or choose to leave the admininstration of their finances to others. Our focus is on building long-term relationships. The quality of service we provide is at the centre of everything we do, going beyond what clients expect and never forgetting whose money we are investing.
Typically a prospective client would have upwards of £250,000 of investable assets. Where children or close relatives of existing clients are concerned the combined wealth of the family is considered.

What to expect as a client
We aim to provide a consistent high quality service to all of our clients regardless of the size of their investment.
Clients of ours can expect to call our office at any time and be sure that they will hear a familiar voice at the end of the line; someone who knows them well and understands their financial arrangements inside out.
We believe you shouldn't have to pay each time you visit your Investment Adviser. Face to face meetings are part of the service and can be as frequent as you like. We encourage all of our clients to visit our office and in doing so our attention and time is focussed solely on managing our clients' money.
Meetings
An investment report is sent to you annually by post. Depending on the accounts you have with us, you may also receive quarterly reports via our online Client Portal. Annual reports include economic and market commentary tailored to you and relevant to the investments you hold. Reports are split into a high level summary of your investments plus a more detailed review of your holdings.
Reports
In between reports, we are proactive in our research activity - continuously monitoring individual client holdings and assessing wider investment strategies. We believe in long term investment and our investment committee are routinely looking at new ideas in advance of meeting more formally every three months.

In becoming a client you will join a small group of a few hundred people who have benefitted from our services over the last 40 years. We don't advertise and nearly all of our clients originate from an introduction from an existing client.
Income vs expenditure
Surprisingly, we have found that clients often overlook this subject. For those who require an income from their investments we firstly consider their annual expenses in detail. Often a thorough analysis of one's expenditure can raise opportunities for inheritance tax planning as well.
Wealth Summary
When considering your wider estate either for inheritance purposes or when considering a form of financial protection, we draw up a thorough summary of all assets and liabilities. Included in the summary are items such as property, cash, investments, income and liabilities.
